We want RoboMaxx to be known for it's Open Class robots. When
you think of a robotics event, what would you expect see?.. Robots
right? Not a bunch of cloned competition robots, but a variety of
unique and individual robots that send you into a fantasy future world.
We will be giving the best prizes and trophies to the winners of the
Open Class event in hopes to encourage more entrants in that category.
Open Class robots stimulate creativity, ingenuity and imagination
for both the spectator and the creator.
Open Class robots don't have to be completed to compete, judging
is based on several things which make it possible for even an
incomplete robot to win. What we require is for you to fill out
the entry form which can be found on the Open Class page or can
be obtained from the information booth at the event. Then keep it
with your robot so that when the judges come around they can
read about your robot. You may be asked by the judges to demonstrate
what your robot can do. We hope that everyone who has a robot
that doesn't fit into any other competition will enter it into this category.
If you are going to choose to enter only one competition at RoboMaxx,
we recommend the Open Class above all others.

There will be a large secure display case available for anyone who
wants to bring an Open Class robot, but doesn't want to baby-sit it
throughout the entire event. This case will remain locked and controlled
by RoboMaxx personnel.
